hmm. i am surprised tat soon wee is in the same boat as me cos i tot guys normally get off this kind of thing.. but i dun hate or dislike my mother at all. cos she had made a lot of sacrifices for me. actually i just quarrelled with her yesterday. cos she was trying to force me to sleep at 10 something n i got irritated n said things i shouldn say. of course she got mad n scolded me until 2 am. but this tirade sort of woke me up lah. she reminded me of the many sacrifices she made for me such tat i am now able to enter uni w/o having to worry abt the money prob. n a lot more during these 19 years. i gave her prob even b4 i was born, something tat i noe only recently. so i was guilty n really sorry after the quarrel. i think brain will b disappointed in me. anyway i decide to quit complaining abt her from now on.

o... mr medicamp was freddy frm 74... he was veri onz to pole dance a few times to show his stuff. ms medicamp was a janice frm rj if i'm not wrong. she was the best dancer among all the contenders.

Hello everyone i'm back. I'm so sleepy now..Actually i want to go n sleep but i know you all may be interested to know about the camp. I think it was quite fun except fer extreme sleep deprivation last night.
Fright Night was terrible. The 1st station with 4 corpses weren't tt bad except the guy kept hanging on to my ankle and I said he was irritating. The 2nd one was the asylum , I screamed when one of them jumped out suddenly . Then later in the dark holding room , when a hand suddenly grabbed me from under the bed. I screamed so badly and gave the guy such a thrashing as he was crawling out from under the bed. I just threw all the bags at him :p The 3rd one really got to me. There was this 'chio bu' where we had to collect the key from her. I walked into the shadowy room after surveying it but boy was i wrong...a guy leapt out from under the table and i screamed. 3 times in a row was too much lor. Then my legs just gave way, i sat on the chair and started sobbing. The seniors kind of panic and just gave us the key.. then they asked the following groups to change their pairings from girl-girl to boy-girl. Then after tt i felt so drained tt i didn't scream anymore at the following stations. But there was this one station where i really admit the make up was excellent. We were suppose to collect the results slip from theis St nick's girl. She lay alone on the steps and really looked like a doll .
The Sentosa outing was really great despite the sun ( but i used sunblock with SPF 50 ) , actually it was quite cloudy. I haven't felt like a kid for such a long time. It was really great to just dash into the sea and get soaked with all your clothes on. I fell headlong into the sea twice and drank mouthfuls of salt water. My OG thought i was dying to wash my hair and face..hee. We had really fun station games like the fountain game where 1 person was the conductor and the rest had to hold water in their mouth and act as fountains. It was quite gross.. spitting out everything . Then we had to built sandcastles.. throw OGLs into the sea for extra points.. cheer for the tourists. The poor guys had to strip their shirts and go around asking tourists whether they were sexy! Ask Jiabin..
It was really fun.. I'm looking forward to starting school again.
We had to write mushy letters. I was J Lo, my Ben Affleck turned out to be from the same Fright Night group as me.
There are a lot of HC seniors and HC freshies. so i felt tt i was able to fit in.
Oh ya btw, Huirei.. Do u know Benjamin/ Ben from sports camp?

its quite coincidental though, some of us were in the same few grps then i was in the same grp as tzewei fer fright nite. it was a rather interesting experience. i enjoyed their elaborate makeup. n i also cheered till no voice.
Anyway, it seems that this blog has been veri alive the last few days too. it took me quite some time to read the posts. and to shaoqiang, i really admire you for being able to do so well despite your circumstances. there is much for mi to learn frm you. O yar, I have been readin yr blog too! i have started mi own blogspace too... jus to keep mi life in check.

If anyone want to organise class outings, it is not a must to have everyone being able to make it.
Take my 4O class for example. When we have outings ( like once every 2 weeks ), everyone who can make it just go. In the end, you will end up meeting everyone that you wanted to catch up with, and you will have more time talking to each of them then if everyone goes in a single meeting, but you dont have time to converse with everyone you want to.
The above sentence is a bit incoherent, but i cant be bothered to change it.. knoe u all can understand one. So wat i want to say is.... just organise the outing n wait for pple to go, dun care too much, otherwise there will nvr be an outing.

As i have implied, I long to have my mum keep a close look on me, but unfortunately circumstances dun allow it. In case you all still havent realise now, the guy who teaches tuition when you all are busy mugging for promos and prelims, eat meals outside, have no body bothering where he goes even when he slipped out at midnite to go to his fav playground or beach, have parents that are sick and retrenched and are happy that their son fail his tests is none other than yours sincerely...
So, my parents have enough worries about whether they can live on and have a roof over their heads than to care about my businesses. I have been surviving on my own ever since a long time ago... n i really miss my parents control. Independence is good but it sometimes leaves you with an emptiness of having no one to turn to for advice ( except maybe my sis), and a fear of taking the wrong step in life.
I know that is the responsibility of an adult, but it is too much for a teenager like me to bear the full brunt of it. And I admire you, kaiwen, for being able to withstand the influence of your frens, for I am really influenced by the Ah Bengs in my camp and almost... sighz... became a diff man....

huirei, see everyone is so concerned about you.... touched or not? gosh, we can all be aunt agonies! :> anyway, sometimes from what u tell me, your mother is too strict ( and linwah's too) but i think it's better that they are strict than bochap. To gain their trust ( and ur freedom), u have to earn it. I don't know how, cos i myself am still quite childish and dependent on my parents. Perhaps u will know when the time comes. U only know how much ur parents are concerned about u when u are in trouble. durin 'normal, peaceful' times, u grudge this and grudge that about ur parents, but when trouble comes, most often, they are the ones u ( or at least I) will confide to first. At they always help. Always. Honestly, I don't mind being a child forever in their eyes. I sort of don't want to grow up, haha. Guess I'm too wary of the world out there, and dependent on my parents to solve my problems. So Huirei, next time give a call to ur parents when u are coming home late ( actually I think that 10 pm isn't even that late exactly), so that they don't worry. Did u?

And contrary to popular belief, quarelling is not a sign of affection, instead, it brings up negative feelings in both parties. So, in a way, Im glad u listen to your mother, and I welcome u to throw all ur complains and vent ur anger here ( there must always be an outlet for frustration huh.. and Friends are the people for you to shout, scream, berate at when you are feeling down... rite? ) rather den quarrel at ur parents ( something which i used to be guilty of )
huirei, U knoe that u love ur mother n we all knoe that. Make her feel loved, just like how u enjoyed the feeling of being loved by the kids. And, huirei, be reassured that you are special and loved by the class as well, as well as by ur domineering mother, just that sighz.. as I said, love isnt always visible to us when we needed that feeling...( geez.. guess u r realli insecure... conclusion : Get a bf manz...hahaha )

okay i noe i complained abt my strict mother but tat doesn mean i dun treasure her. in fact the reason y i am so obedient toward her is mostly becos i am constantly worried abt her health.
Strict parents r not necessarily gd parents. if too dominating they can produce insecure children.

stripping game is not as bad as it sounds lah. anyway it is kind of hard to explain the rules but u have to take off one item if u lose. gals can always take off things like hairclips n accessories but it is the guys who r at the losing end.. haha. but we dun play it too guo fen. they can still keep their pants on.
went to do relief teaching today.. feel useful finally. miss my class kids again..they r like so happy to see me n so sad to noe tat i am not teaching them. make me feel loved n special again.

Hey.. The story linwah forwarded was quite touching man... Could feel tears welling up my eyes as I read the story. Dunno why, but this kind of supposedly 'silly' love story always gets on me. To everyone who has strict parents, be thankful that you are blessed with good parents. At least you all have someone to guide you all with his/her past experiences ( which are mostly true, in case you are are still wondering ), until you all have the ability to judge matters and control yourself. Imagine if you as a teenager, still fresh form being a child, have to go work and teach tuition to earn your own pocket money, eat your own meals outside most of the times, have no one to turn to for advice, have no one asking about your whereabouts when you disappear for the whole night, and have parents who dont care even if you fail your tests. You like dat?
Please, don't only start to treasure your parents control when your mother is constantly sick and your father is retrenched and you have to fend for yourself in this dark society all by yourself. You.. you will regret it. Adult life, though sought after by teenagers, is not that wonderful, especially when you are suddenly thrusted into it without being prepared for it.
And to Kaiwen who claims that one will never turn bad because he/she is under her own control, I beg to differ. The human brain can be illogical and easily influenced by peers. Do you think any drug addicts wanted to be addicted to drugs willingly? Do you really think that the party animals really find fulfilment in their lives? Why do you think linwah quarelled with her mother over medicamp and class outings? Do you really think she sat down calmly, think about the pros and cons of going to the camp before choosing to argue with her parents? Or is it that there is some external factors that urges her to go for every outing and free herself from the shackles that her parents impose on her?
You are only lucky that the people you meet are all decent people that wont lead you astray. Imagine that if class outings are not at Sentosa or huancui's house, but instead at pubs, discos etc. Will you still be the same person? I cant say for sure, but i believe you most probably wont. It takes a lot of willpower to remain untainted by your surroundings, and I am sad to say that I am not a saint who can do that.
Paiseh that I got carried over by my emotions and turn this post into some ramblings.
To lick your elbow, simply cut off your arms or tongue, or break your shoulder joint. Any of the 3 methods will do.

BTW.. of course u WONT die fer not goin class outings la... that's not the point. My mom was also quite strict with me.. But it's a matter of eventuality that you must let ur parents know they can't deny u freedom to make ur own decisions... n that includes where u wanna go n what u wanna do. We're all sensible n OLD (sobz) enuff... 2 more yrs and we'll all be adults. So... if we still need them to tell us what is gd fer us n what is not.. we all have been wastin our time receiving education. Parents gotta let loose some day. N I'm sure tt none of us will become delinquents. If u dun wanna become a party animal.. u will never be, even without ur parents' guidance. Cos ur under ur own control.
Kudos to adulthood n freedom. Hee.. btw i juz realised sth.. A human-being can never physically lick his/her elbow.

I wun be gone so soon.. as much as u all would like me too. I'll only be gone for 3 days. Although I'm goin one day later but i have already packed my bags heehee..
Anyway Hui Rei, cheer up. My mom is equally strict but i'm fine with it. I never get to go to b'day parties when I was younger. I was not allowed to go on class outings until sec 3. I'm expected home by dinner times when i was in jc. So what? So what if everyone else can go b'day parties ? So what if pple can go on class outings? If it weren't for my mom's strictness, I doubt i'll be where i am today. Its the same for you isn't it? Does it matter if you are not as 'on'? Will you die? NO..
We live and abide by our own rules and principles. So long as we are not harming others , I think there is nothing wrong in it.
And yes i have sneaked out a couple of times in sec 2.. And i also quarrel with my mom over class outings..Even today, we were arguing over the medicamp. But in the end, I'm grateful tt she is keeping a close hold on me. If not i would have become a party animal.

i paid my price for staying until 10 pm at suntec. cos my mother impose a 2 wk quarentine on me. she almost dun want to open the door for me tat night. so sometimes not tat i dun want to b on. it is bcos i have a dominating mother whom i find v hard to disobey.

Today went for og outing..played one card game for 2 hrs.. quite fun. but later played stripping game which i dun enjoy a lot. cos like a lot of pple staring at us. ooh yah. n we played bumper cars..make me think of my childhood when life is carefree n simple. my og pple r really too on liao. i was the first one to leave at around 10 pm at suntec but to them it is way too early to b going home.

i hope the medi camp will be fun, I actually sacrificed a lot of my driving lessons for it. had to cancel two and not take my advance theory becos of the camp. Sigh... today I went out onto the main road for the first time. Was rather nervous. I could do everything the instructor wanted and more... I was so nervous that I stepped onto the accelerator pedal till my speedometer showed 80km/h! haha.... he had to break immediately for me of cos :)

Heh.. e FRIGHT NIGHT is a piece of cake.. there's nothing to be scared abt yeah.. juz think of them as actors =P B-U-T..Hohohoz.. 1 of the gals in my OG was so totally flabbergasted.. tt she went to slap, scratch, pinch, box, kick, push, bite one 'ghost', den she cried in front of it n shouted, 'I hate you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' In e end the 'ghost' concerned gotta accompany her out of the 'haunted' place... all i can say is tt.. my fright night did cause some ppl to break down.. even guys were screaming while tryin to get the hell outta tt place:)

Went to watch whale rider today. feel much better after being cooped in the house for a couple of days. however i dun really like it leh cos i think it belongs to the more chim sort of movie with a meaning behind it. plus the setting is those v cultural n tribal kind n they speaks funny english. so next time i will just settle for those movies with more entertainment value like twin effect or terminator 3 or even the hulk. no more these kind of wu lu wu lu movie.

Shucks VVIIOOLLEENNTT objection to karaoke singing !! My mom will home quarantine me if she knows i went to such kind of dark dark places. Cannot lah . Can we do something more in the open?
Look I have a suggestion , I know the CC near my house has badminton courts for booking. But you have to bring your own net and racquets and shuttlecocks. Maybe my place is a bit far fer some of you but maybe some other CCs also haf such facilities. Not necessary juz condos

Hello. i have been feeling weird these few days.. i think it is post camp syndrome. Anyway if u all want to make the outing on the 20th pls go ahead. cos i am not v sure whether to go for my og outing tat day. i think they r too on liao. They actually want to do stuffs like wakeboarding windsurfing clubbing like of things.. really not my cup of tea.
Kaiwen the milieu thing is it something like clubbing sort?? i drank ribena vodka cos it sounds v innocent. still quite strong but not v bitter. btw i suddenly agree with u abt taxi drivers. cos yesterday i was in a taxi when it suddenly ram into the car in front. v lucky tat we r all wearing seat belts cos the impact v big. so now i have something against taxi drivers too.

Anyway I went for my medical check-up today at NUS , there were so many RJ pple and a few HC guys only..Quite sad..
I have to go back for another check up as I didn't managed to complete the whole routine..I hate the part where they took my blood. The 1st nurse claimed my arms were too delicate ! And had to call another older nursewho jabbed in the needle and said, ' Cannot see your vein..' I nearly died. Heng she managed to draw some blood ... If I have to go through another ordeal , I will drop dead .

It was just an innocent post I created out of boredom to kill time as I waited for my friend to go online and it sparked off so much discussion. Oh well, what I really think is that males and females are equal, but because of the 'ego' thingy, both parties will try to find reasons ( which are mostly illogical, stereotyped and flawed ) to support their gender. I admit I am a bit like that la.. but isn't every other breathing soul like that too?

I agree w you that guys in NUS r so totally different.. =) But it's really pretty easy to differentiate TCHS guys frm the rest. (Not that I'm biased.. but it's true!!) NUS organises many many bashes.. so I guess U will be going to more! heh.. but those r normally small ones like Millieu n Rush.. doubt they will go Zouk (mostly trance or techno).. anyway I dislike trance... I feel that we shud at least go clubbing once in our lifetime to experience what it's really like.. BASHing is really not that sleazy as anyone might think.. So pple! try to go at least once during ur Uni times.. =) From what I heard.. those who went for the fac camps or any other camps in NUS felt that they have learnt n grown up a lot..

HI hi.. i am back after 6 days.. feel so cut off from the world. i am shocked to see so so many entries.
Okay now i shall answer the burning qn: how is the sport camp. erm. quite fun but i didn enjoy it as much as i wanted to. i think the main prob is i cannot really swim n cycle well so the activites really sapped my energy. n the activites r like quite strenuous. i remb the first day got a lot water activites including life saving. i am suppose to pull a drowning guy up n ended up i almost drowned myself. haha. in the end the guy just swim behind me. n on the fourth day got orientation on wheels where we cycled ard pulau ubin for 3 hrs. n again i found myself lagging behind cos some of the road r really steep n uneven. so a lot of time i feel paiseh tat my grp members have to take special care of me. but otherwise i enjoyed the rest of the activities cos can try out a lot of new things like rollerblade windsurfing diving archery rock climbing dragon boating all tat. diving is really cool.. i feel like a fish in the water.
oh yah we also went chionging which is the first time i am in a pub. i was pretty overwhelmed by the super loud music n after drinking something alcholic i felt dizzy.. later when i was forced to dance i actually felt quite high n shake a lot. i think is the effect of the drink.. i nv felt something like this b4.
wow we got 10 pple in med!!! i am really shocked.
okay back to my camp. another thing abt the camp is tat i get to noe v different pple. really v different from those tat i noe all my life. there r 2 smokers in my grp n most in my grp actually drink n always go clubbing including the girls. a lot of times i find this v hard to accept . i think cos i nv had frens like them so all along i assume pple r like me this sort.. so i think this camp is like a eye- opener. in a sense i realise i am kind of naive n also realise i am really v guai. haha. OKay i hope i didn bore u all with my long entry.
Okay i still need some more time to finish reading all the entries.
n yah just to add on i think guys in nus r really different.. they r my main motivation to stay on in the camp. hahaha.

i agree with Lin Wah. we should do something else, besides the usual movie- lunch/dinner routine. Guys.... please don't play pool ok? How abt karaoke or a bbq at east coast? Actually, I always wanted a class chalet, but i am too lazy and clueless to organise one. anyone wanna volunteer to b the organiser 4 class chalet? even if we watch movie, i think we should not watch something stupid like charlie's angels. HEY PPLE!@@@@@@ I'm back!!!! =P frm the most wonderful-fun-happening camp in Singapore, JB and some say Batam! Hahaz.. hope u guys can still recognise me after Im back frm the camp~ cos i'm like super-duper tannnnnnnned. Oohhz.. Huirei went for hers on the day I came back~ =) Actually I'm quite shagged... onlee slept 4 hrs in 4 days~ yesterday when i came back, I slept frm 6pm-9am =) wOoahahz.. nEwaYz i think sports camp is gonna be fun. Wanted to join.. but I really need sleep~ =O OhHh well... i think BIZAD contains the most chio gals n handsome guys in e whole of Singapore~ Hahahz.. the Miss photogenic, Miss Pageant ALL came frm BIZAD~ So guys do check us out (not including me)=) hahahz.. okiEee.. we did take some photos. =) I'll try to upload it when my og mate send me his~ YeaPpz! hopefully i can do a better job than Zhiwen:) Heh.. the dance night was grEat..
